I KNOW WHO I AM

I am significant (Phil.3:20) I am free from any charge against me (Rom. 8:31-34) I am a minister of reconciliation for God (2 Cor.5:17-21) I have access to God through the Holy Spirit (Eph 2:18) I am seated with Christ in the heavenly realms (Eph. 2:6) I cannot be separated from the love of God (Rom.8:35-39) I am established, anointed, sealed by God (2 Cor.1:21-22) I am assured all things work together for good (Rom. 8: 28) I have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit (John 15:16) I may approach God with freedom and confidence (Eph. 3: 12) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Phil. 4:13) I am the branch of the true vine, a channel of His life (John 15: 1-5) I am God's temple (1 Cor. 3: 16). I am complete in Christ (Col. 2: 10) I am hidden with Christ in God (Col. 3:3). I have been justified (Romans 5:1) I am God's co-worker (1 Cor. 3:9; 2 Cor 6:1). I am God's workmanship (Eph. 2:10) I am confident that the good works God has begun in me will be perfected (Phil. 1: 5) I have been redeemed and forgiven (Col. 1:14). I have been adopted as Gods child (Eph 1:5)

Are there Bad Angels?
Well, We have looked at some angels these last few weeks, "Angel of the Lord," angels that help God by giving out messages that are important, help in battles, give encouragement and sing. So you say, but are they well bad angels? This is what we will look at today! So here we goo....
Number one bad angel is guess who? Satan- he caused Eve to sin by tempted her ey(lust) of the apple(knowledge of tree) to say "you won't die (spiritually) but be a god." Wrong! Satan tempted her by lust of knowledge. (Gensis 3:1, Revelation 12:9-11)
Satan(the devil) even tried to tempt Jesus with lust, power and Jesus said "get thee behind me satan!" Wow, I have always wonder "what made satan even think he could get Jesus to succumb? But maybe it was so Jesus can say He knows what we go through even in Satan's lies and deceit, etc.
So angels come as demons which are just fallen angels(Mark 1:23-27). And we as God's Children can have the power to get rid of them in our lives and other peoples lives(luke 10:19).
We are also not to worship angels also (Colossians 2:18) only God the Father, Son, Holy Spirit. (Matthew 22:37-39).
Angels are God's messengers, helpers and guardians but not to be worshipped. We can appreciate them like friends. Back to bad angels. lol
As I said before demons are fallen angels and they would like nothing better to come and destroy God's people(Matthew 8:28; Acts 8:7; Ephesians 6:12)
So remember that when things are taking you away from God its Satan and his fallen angels pursuing you. Just rebuke them in Jesus Name according to Luke 10:19.
Did you realized that demons(fallen angels) also had names like Legion(many demons had entered) Luke 8:30
Satan known as Lucifer, Angel of Music, Angel of Light, devil is known to get us to veer away from God and show he will do whatever it takes to do it by lying, stealing, killing, deceit. He will use any means with his fallen angels, spirits, etc. to stop us. ( 2 Corinthians 9:11; Isaiah 14:12-15. Revelations is a great book in the Bible that will tell all that will happen at the end times to get us away from God. This will warn us of satan and the world at well the end times.
So we see that satan is basically the ruler or he thinks he is the rulerof this earth for his pride got the best of him and wanted to be like God. He lost everything he had looks, light, music, very talented angel in God's kingdom but that wasn't enough for him so because of his attitude God throw him to earth, Shoel(Hades). People will look at satan (lucifer) devil and shake their head for he use to make the earth tremble. But now satan is angry at God so he takes it out on us for we are precios to God mae in his image so he (satan) fells if he can lie,steal,decieve, kill us it will get back at God. Hmmmm, sounds like a few of us when someone hurts us!!!! So satan(an angel of light) got other fallen angels to follow him.
Know we that believe in God have to remember to put the "Armour of God"(Ephesians 6:10-19) every day.

SPECIFIC ANGELS
Ok, here I am going to see how many named angels in the Bible and their purposes. I am looking to see if there was more, so here we go.
In Gensis 32:1, Exodus 14:19 says the angels of God met Jacob. Why? Not sure but in Old Testament the angels often intervened in human situations. And appear in human forms. These came diffently for Jacob recongized them as "angels of God."
In Joshua 5:14,15 -commander of the army of the Lord comes to Joshua. This angel had a superior rank.
And in 2 Kings 6-16-18 Elisha had God open the eyes of the people so they could see the army of the Lord.
Wow, so how come we don't open our eyes to see them now, I wonder????
In 2 Samuel 24:16 this is when David fighting and the Lord gave David 3 options and David choosed for 3 days of plague in his land. An angel stretched out his hand to destory Jersulem but the Lord was grieved and said "Stop" to the angel.
Luke 1:26 the angel of Gabriel came to Mary. Not just to Mary but Zechariah, Daniel for He would bring important messages from God to people.
Luke 2:13-15 a host of angels accompanied the "Angel of the Lord" when they brought good tidings to the sheperds about Jesus birth. Singing
Also Revelation 5:11 voices of many angels singing to the Lord of God and Son of man. God himself.
Of course, the verse that has started this whole investigation is Hebrews 13:2- we don't know when we will entertain strangers for they could be angels.
See in my reading of angels they can come to us in human forms thos some may show themselves as they are so we need to be careful, I feel.
Revelation 1:20 also say angles are messengers. So they can be earthly leaders or messengers of God. And in Revelations there are numerous scriptures that angels will be well helping God at the end times, bring things to earth, showing people things,singing to the Lord, riding on horses, etc.
Ok, we know or see that angels com to protect thus we get "guardian angels," bring importan news from God, they are leaders, have functions just like here on earth but I'm sure more orderly and without confusions and trying to prove power.

Angel of the Lord
I am going to start with this today, then go from there in time.
Do not forget or neglect or refuse for extend hospitality to strangers[in the brotherhood-being friendly, cordial; gracious,sharing the comforts of your home, and doing your part generously], for through it some have entertained angels without knowing it. Hebrews 13:2[amplified bible]
Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels wthout knowing it. Hebrews 13:2[NIV]
Ok, here is some thoughts on this. Like when Abraham(Genesis 18:1-3) Lot(Genesis 19:1-3) Gideon(Judges 6:12) Maonah (Judges 13:3) these people invited the Lord and the angels and sat, eat, spoke with them. They conversed with them. We have to rmember to be hospitable.
Hospitalitly simply means making other people feel comfortable and at home.
Wow, I remember as a child that we at our church at that time use to do this but for some reason as I'm older it seems that this doesn't happen as much. Have we lost our kindness, our helpfulness, our hositpalitily?
Angels-spiritual being superior to humans.
Ok, another thought, so if we are to entertain strangers then will we know that they are angels?
I have noticed while reading my devotions this year that there seems to be several ways angels appears. I am going to start with the "angel of the Lord".
Definition-The "Angel of the Lord" or "His presence" is readily identified with the Lord God. But its obvious that the "Angel of the Lord" is a distinct person in Himself from God the Father. The "Angel of the Lord" is the visible Lord God of the Old Testament, as Jesus Christ is of the New Testament. So if yu look at the Old Testament scripture this is howGod came to these people. Which if you remember its a spiritual being. So God has and is considered a spiritual being superior to us, I know, duh, but He will come as an angel to us. Does this make sense?
If you have a Bible, here are some scriptures to read of the "Angel of the Lord" talking to regular people. People that ran away from problems, people that think they are nothing, not good enough, people that are hungry and thinking their journey is at the end, people that have dreams and need direction, people that just need an helping hand or explanation or just need to know that God loves them.
I did noticed that the "Angel of the Lord" came in the New Testament but it was before Jesus Christ was born, during his birth, after his death and when he arose to heaven that He came. So this is saying to me that the "Angel of the Lord" could come to us today and comfort us.
So now we are back to the beginning of our conversation. Entertain strangers.
